The best designed fashions combine form, function and art to produce beautiful items. The fashion industry stands to celebrate this, the expressive form. Designers are tasked with inventing and reinventing items that fit this mould and are celebrated based on their success in embodying and balancing fashion at its simplest form.
As consumers, we look to fashion for its form and function and buy into it for its art to add interest to a necessity. We embrace differing aesthetics, buy into different maisons and support individual designers for their creative and innovative genius for the love of fashion.
Leveridged was founded to express an appreciation for the art of fashion, past, present and future.

Society and culture have deepened my understanding and broadened my appreciation for clothing, by seeing the lifestyles they are made for, the culture the clothing lives in, and the experiences they foster.
It is the universal experience of fashion, its history, the art, its production and its consumption that I find interesting and compelling. Seeing the tides shift due to fashion, and despite fashion, is fascinating. Topics I intensely discussed while at university. University provided the language; observation of local culture provided the drive.
Fashion influences culture, which influences fashion, which keeps the cycle going, making history season after season compelling Leveridged Alta-Moda to archive these moments beginning with the Alta-Moda runways.
Atla – Moda is the perceived authority of fashion and style. High fashion dictates and produces the influences that power the cycle.
Leveridged seeks to review the runways, dissect the economy, and study the emotions hidden in fashion, sewing it all together, encouraging discussions while fostering community. As Editor-in-Chief, my role is to curate a definitive, high-contrast archive of design. Leveridged exists to dissect the seismic structural shifts in high fashion (alta moda), while charting the broader cultural currents of dress (moda).
